What's coaching?
Pure coaching works on principle that we all have a solution to our problem although we are not aware of it or there’s something blocking us from noticing the solution. A coach asks questions, uses tools to help you to discover the solution, and way forward. A coach doesn’t provide advice, doesn’t judge, he/she listens actively and picks up certain words, changes of tomes in your voice, body language to discover underlying blocks or thoughts patterns. I am using my intuition too.

How does coaching differ from counselling, mentoring?
Counselling is past focused while coaching is present and future oriented. One major difference is that the therapists are trained to help people dealing with mental illnesses, whereas coaches are usually not. While coaching can sometimes touch on aspects of mental health, coaches aren’t trained to handle these psychological states. So, if you are dealing with things like anxiety, depression, self-destructive behavior, or any other mental concerns, it’s best to reach out to a psychotherapist. In both coaching and counselling, you’ll chat with a trained professional. In therapy, you’ll probably find yourself in unstructured sessions where you decide what to talk about. This can vary depending on type of therapy, but it’s generally how counselling works.
